Read this before you try anal sex!

If you aren’t already having anal sex, it may be worth bringing this up to your partner.

The anus is tighter than the vaginal canal, and penetration may offer more stimulation for both of you.

Keep this in mind:

  • Lube is a must. Use water-based lube to prevent any damage to the anus.
  • Your position matters. Many people find it helpful to lay on their stomach while their partner enters behind. Doggy style is another comfortable position.
  • Start small. Don’t aim for full penis penetration on your first go-round. Start with one finger and work your way up from there.

Take your time and stop if it becomes uncomfortable. You and your partner may find that it takes time to get used to the sensation, so listen to your bodies and check in with one another during.
